Without these skills, learners may not be getting the most tailored and targeted teaching, which means that schools are missing a huge opportunity to know their learners and community better.

Data Champions - year long program
I work with the change makers in schools - usually people in middle and/or senior leadership roles who want to lead data- and evidence-informed change. Data Champions is a professional learning journey and action research program that is 2 days per term, and is hosted in 2023 in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, and Newcastle.
2024 will see Data Champions returning to Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and launching in Darwin and Alice Springs.

Accelerate Program
I work with a handful of schools each year on a 12 - 24 month program.
Year one includes a school wide data diagnostic in Term 1, as well as comparison data in Term 4. I work with schools 1-2 days per term and 2 places are included for middle leaders to attend Data Champions.
In year two we will work together 1 day per term and 2 places are included for staff to attend Data Champions.

Keynotes (up to 90 minutes)
I offer keynote presentations for school systems and diocese as well as educational conferences.
These are tailored to your school's or system’s needs. These are typically half or full day sessions.

In-person staff Professional Learning sessions
Selena or a member of her team can run an in-person professional learning session in your school - covering the use of data in Australian schools, unpacking best practice, NAPLAN and/or PAT analysis sessions, or telling effective data stories. Sessions from 90 minutes to full day, and include staff meeting sessions and/or twilights.

Remote/online staff Professional Development sessions
Selena or a member of her team can run online sessions on a topic of your choosing, for after school meetings, and/or twilight sessions.
