St Anne's Catholic Primary School, Sarina
Since 2018, Selena has worked with the leadership team and staff at St Anne's to raise the evidence-informed practice of all teachers. This has occurred through introductory data literacy professional learning sessions, followed by workshops with teaching teams and staff at key junctures throughout the year. The most recent in-person session unpacked PAT data and focused on teachers building their skills in measuring progress of their students.
Brigidine College, Indooroopilly
In 2021, Selena started working with staff at Brigidine one day per week. During January staff week, Selena presented a keynote, followed by workshops for middle leaders and teachers. Throughout 2021, Selena will run weekly workshops with all teaching staff and middle leaders, and each educator will meet with Selena once per term. The sessions are structured around teachers' annual professional learning plans, where teachers set goals, plan actions, collect evidence of learning, and come back each term to evaluate their impact.
Berry Street School, Victoria
In the second half of 2020, Selena started working with Berry Street School in a coaching capacity with senior leaders as a data team. This team has established new priorities around the use of data, written data plans, roles and responsibilities, and has started planning a new visualisation dashboard for the school. Berry Street are now trialling a formalised collection of student wellbeing data in response to the needs of the school, teachers, and young people.
